weight loss failure at 46 years

HubnutíLéky

Hello,

I tried Mounjaro 0.5 mg for one month, but the clinic administered the injections as they were not provided through a pen device. The doctor advised that, since I did not lose any weight during that month, it was not worth continuing the treatment. However, I feel that one month may not have been enough time to properly assess its effectiveness.

Over the past year, I have gained weight and have found it extremely difficult to lose it. I am wondering whether this could be related to changes in my metabolism, as I am currently going through menopause. I have always been a very active person. In the past, dieting worked well for me, and I typically ate only once or twice a day. Now, nothing seems to make a difference on the scale.

I have tried Mounjaro, Orlistat, and other weight-loss medications without significant results. I am also working with a nutritionist, walking approximately 15,000 steps per day, and exercising regularly, yet I am seeing very little change.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated and discouraged because I do not feel comfortable in my current body, and the situation is starting to affect my mood and mental well-being.

Could you please advise what additional steps I should take or what might be causing this lack of progress?

Kind regards,
